Wisconsin Corn travels to Guatemala for U.S. Grains Council Meeting

Wisconsin Corn grower leaders and staff joined the U.S. Grains Council for their 21st International Marketing Conference and 64th Annual Membership Meeting. Attendees heard updates regarding the current state of feed grain and biofuel markets around the world and attended Advisory Team meetings to help set plans for the year ahead.

The week kicked off with information about Guatemala’s Feed Grain Market and Ethanol Market as well as an overview of the entire Latin American region. The opportunities U.S. Grains Council would have through Regional Agricultural Promotion Program funding were also shared with those in attendance. Attendees also took part in the board of delegates meeting and heard from panels highlighting the work of the U.S. Grains Council in aquaculture and critical markets for U.S. ag exports.
