Wisconsin Corn seeks Communications and Program Manager

MADISON, Wis. – The Wisconsin Corn Promotion Board is now accepting applications for their newly-updated Communications and Program Manager position.

“This is an exciting time for Wisconsin Corn and we look forward to bringing someone to the team who will help us continue our strong history of success,” says Nicole Wagner, executive director. “We want to extend our thanks to the Wisconsin Agri-Business Association who have shared an employee with us in recent years, allowing us the time needed to revise and grow this position to best serve Wisconsin’s corn growers.”

The Communications and Program Manager is responsible for all activities related to cultivating and implementing communication, public relations, membership, and market development strategies and programs for Wisconsin Corn. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: managing in-state promotion efforts; website, newsletter, and social media coordination; coordinating the annual Corn Yield Contest; and managing the Wisconsin Corn Growers Association’s CORN PAC program and activities.

Wisconsin Corn serves the state’s corn growers through the Wisconsin Corn Promotion Board (WCPB) and Wisconsin Corn Growers Association (WCGA). The WCPB utilizes checkoff funds to develop and defend markets, fund research and provide education about corn and corn products. WCGA is a united, grassroots-driven member organization representing growers from across Wisconsin on important state and national agricultural issues in an effort to increase member profitability and opportunity.
