MADISON, Wis. – In response to today’s release of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) supplemental proposal to the 2020 Renewable Volume Obligation (RVO) rulemaking, the Wisconsin Corn Growers Association (WCGA) has released the following statement:
“Wisconsin’s corn growers have once again been let down by the EPA’s unwillingness to follow the letter of the law,” says Doug Rebout, WCGA President. “While efforts are being made by the Agency to follow recommendations from the Department of Energy, this proposal does not live up to President Trump’s promises. We encourage all growers to participate in the 30-day public comment period following the public hearing on October 30.”
