WCGA Seeking Board Candidates

The Wisconsin Corn Growers Association (WCGA) is seeking candidates for its board of directors. Elections for the WCGA board will be held during the WCGA Annual Meeting at the Corn/Soy Expo, Feb. 4.

Three director positions will be up for election. Directors are elected for a three-year term, serving a maximum of three terms and will have opportunities to provide leadership and direction at the national level. Board members provide strategic direction on state and federal policy, producer outreach programs, and consumer education efforts.

Corn growers interested in running for the WCGA board should contact Nicole Wagner at 262-372-3289 or nicole@wicorn.org.

WCGA is a membership organization that represents the interest of state corn growers in the growing and managing of corn grown both for on-farm feeding and commercial sale. WCGA brings together corn growers to provide information and education at regional corn conferences and the annual Wisconsin Corn/Soy EXPO. As part of NCGA, WCGA represents corn grower interests nationally and internationally and also sponsors annual corn yield contests.
