MADISON, Wis. – In response to President Trump’s signing of the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA), Wisconsin Corn Growers Association (WCGA) President, Doug Rebout, has released the following statement:
“We don’t always agree with 100 percent of the decisions our elected officials make, but to see them come together in a way that will strengthen our country’s proud agriculture industry – that’s what it’s all about.”
Rebout attended today’s White House signing along with National Corn Growers Association President Kevin Ross, Ohio Corn and Wheat Growers Association President Patty Mann and Minnesota Corn Growers Association President Les Anderson.
Wisconsin Corn serves the state’s corn growers through the Wisconsin Corn Promotion Board (WCPB) and Wisconsin Corn Growers Association (WCGA). The WCPB utilizes checkoff funds to develop and defend markets, fund research and provide education about corn and corn products.
