The Wisconsin Corn Growers Association (WCGA) is pleased to announce its annual Capitol Day will be held on Tuesday, September 3, 2025, in Madison. This important event brings together corn growers and agricultural advocates from across the state to meet with Wisconsin legislators and share their priorities for corn farming and rural communities.
Capitol Day is a unique opportunity for growers and stakeholders to engage directly with policymakers, discuss key issues such as E15, trade policy, farm bill priorities, and pesticide regulations, and highlight the vital role of agriculture in Wisconsin’s economy.
“Your voice matters—especially when it comes to shaping policies that impact our farms and our future,” said James Giese, WCGA president. “We encourage all those passionate about agriculture and rural advocacy to join us for this important day of dialogue and action.”
Participants will receive a briefing on legislative topics before heading to the Capitol for scheduled meetings with state representatives and senators. A networking lunch and discussion session will also be part of the day’s agenda.
