Alice in Dairyland Partnership:
Driving Demand for Wisconsin Corn

A Statewide Partnership that Connects Wisconsin Corn to Your Fuel

Did you know?

Ethanol is a renewable fuel made from corn. When you choose ethanol blends
like E15, you’re using fuel made from crops grown by Wisconsin corn farmers.

The Wisconsin Corn Promotion Board is proud to partner with Alice in Dairyland by providing the vehicle Alice uses every day across the state. This vehicle is powered by Unleaded 88 (E15) and is compatible with higher ethanol blends like E85, demonstrating how corn plays a role in fueling daily activities for Wisconsinites.

Who is Alice in Dairyland?

Alice in Dairyland travels thousands of miles each year connecting with consumers, students and communities. From county fairs and classrooms to media interviews and community events, Alice brings Wisconsin agriculture to life sharing where food and fuel come from and why it matters.

Each year, Alice logs roughly 50,000 miles, making her one of the most visible voices for agriculture across the state. Through this partnership, Wisconsin Corn ensures that every mile driven helps tell the story of corn’s role in providing food, fiber and fuel across the state.

The Alice in Dairyland program is hosted by the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection (DATCP). Alice serves as a respected, statewide voice for Wisconsin agriculture.

Connecting Farm to Fuel

The Alice in Dairyland vehicle does more than get Alice from place to place. It’s a moving billboard, promoting the key benefits of renewable, Wisconsin-grown fuel.

Thirty-seven percent of Wisconsin’s corn goes to ethanol production. Ethanol is a homegrown energy choice that offers real advantages for Wisconsin drivers and rural communities.

A few benefits include:

helps support locally grown energy and rural economies.

Ethanol production also creates coproducts, like distillers grains, that support Wisconsin’s livestock and dairy industries. By showcasing this connection, the Alice in Dairyland vehicle illustrates how everyday fuel choices support local farms, communities and Wisconsin’s agricultural economy.
