Our Communications and Program Manager plays a pivotal role in connecting with stakeholders, managing educational programs, and enhancing our brand presence.
The Communications and Program Manager supports the Wisconsin Corn Promotion Board, Wisconsin Corn Growers Association, and Wisconsin Corn Foundation. This role involves coordinating communication strategies, leading content creation, and managing outreach programs to foster a strong agricultural network in Wisconsin.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate Communication Strategies

Develop and implement communication plans across digital, print, and media platforms to enhance brand visibility.

Lead Content Creation

Produce engaging content for social media, newsletters, and websites to connect with our audience.

Manage Grower Education Programs

Oversee educational initiatives to support and inform corn growers across Wisconsin.

Strengthen Brand Identity

Utilize digital tools to engage audiences and promote the Wisconsin Corn brand.

Support Promotional Events

Coordinate events, sponsorships, and stakeholder engagement activities to boost community involvement.

Collaborate with Industry Partners

Work alongside other commodity organizations to enhance industry relations and joint initiatives.

Oversee Advertising Efforts

Manage advertising campaigns and in-state promotion projects to increase awareness and support.

Represent Wisconsin Corn

Attend trade shows and national events to advocate for Wisconsin Corn and its initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, or related field
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in agriculture communications or public relations
  • Proficiency in digital media and social platforms
  • Understanding of Wisconsin’s farming landscape
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Experience with WordPress and digital content platforms
  • Familiarity with CRM or member database systems
  • Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently
  • Comfortable working autonomously and in team settings
  • Background in agriculture is desirable
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
