Wisconsin corn farmers will promote the renewable and clean air benefits of ethanol fuel at Ethanol Night at the Races. The event takes place at Jefferson Speedway Saturday, June 11. The evening will spotlight the National Ethanol Short-Track Championship sponsored by American Ethanol SuperTruck Series. The race will feature several SuperTrucks using E-98, or 98 percent ethanol in the racing fuel.
Guests must pre-register for the event, and with a paid admission will receive:
- A free hog roast served by the Jefferson County Pork Producers from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.
- Meet and greet with SuperTruck driver Michael Raskovic, who is sponsored by Wisconsin Corn Growers Association and Wisconsin Corn Promotion Board.
- A full night of racing, with the green flag dropping at 7 p.m.
In addition, any WCGA member bringing a new member to join the organization will receive a Kwik Trip gift card. The new member will also receive a gift card.
Ethanol Night at the Races is sponsored by the Wisconsin Farm Report, United Wisconsin Grain Producers, Illinois Corn Growers Association, Wyffels Hybrids, Schultz’s Inter-State Ag, Inc., Ziegler Ag Equipment, Rural Mutual Insurance – Bill Jensen. Additional sponsorships are still available.
